Q: Where can I eat in 2008?
A: Callaway Gardens provides several different restaurants.  With all of the activities, making time to eat may be a challenge – but not for lack of dining options. With ten on-site restaurants serving up menus to please every palate, Callaway Gardens dining may well become yet another wonderful experience during your Pine Mountain escape.  For information about local restaurants, call the Pine Mountain Chamber of Commerce at 706.663.4000.

Q: What is there to do in 2008?
A: Not only is there so much to see and do at Callaway Gardens, but the surrounding area is rich with history, timeless beauty and places of interest.  For more information - log on to their website www.callawaygardens.com

Q: What should I wear in 2008?
A: The dress is casual.  We want you to be yourself and comfortable.  The Main Ballroom is kept at a very cool temperature.  We recommend a sweater for women who tend to be cool natured.

Q: Is seating reserved at the 2008 conference?
A: There are three areas of seating.  The front section is reserved for our speakers and special guests.  The middle section is reserved for staff and volunteers.  All other seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis.  If there is a special need, please contact our office and we will accomodate seating for you.

Q: Are personal announcements allowed at the 2008 retreat?
A: We are elated when women choose to celebrate their birthdays or anniversarys at a retreat.  However, we value the time of all our attendees.  Because of the number of retreat announcements that must be made in order to keep the retreat flowing smoothly, we cannot make birthday, anniversary, or other personal announcements.

Q: Is childcare provided for the 2008 retreat?
A: No. The ballrooms are not suitable for childcare, and the logistics involved make it impracticable for our ministry to offer childcare.

Q: Is transportation provided to and from the 2008 retreat?
A: You may call the front desk of the hotel to see if shuttles are offered to and from the retreat.  We do not offer any transportation.

Q: What if I lost a personal item at the 2008 retreat?  How do I get it back?
A: Anything turned into our retreat is left at the Lost & Found area.  You may also contact the hotel to see if your item was turned in to the front desk.

Q: How do I become a guest speaker or singer for this ministry?
A: We book speakers and musicians approximately 2 years in advance.  At this time, our roster is full.  We will notify you when we are accepting applications.
