Balancing Life's Demands

Thank  you  for   celebrating the  2009  Balancing   Life's Demands  Ladies Retreat at Callaway  Gardens.  We  are excited  what  the  Lord  has done  throughout the week-end.  Over 40 women made various decisions for Christ, and  one  woman   accepted Christ.   Our   bodies   were  revitalized,  spirits  renewed and our souls  refreshed in the LORD.  God was Faithful and    HIS  glory   fell  down upon us.  To   GOD  be  the Glory!!! Amen.

Here    you'll   find    an inviting  place   to  kick off   your   heels,   grab your comfy  shoes, pull up  a  virtual chair, and allow   God  to  provide you  a moment to relax those  tired  feet until it is  time to run again.  It is  addictive,   but  only He  can make you want to  run a marathon.

We all need salvation--so how do we get it?

Fortunately for us, within the pages of the Bible, the door to eternal life with God is opened for us.

It contains several scriptures that are written to guide us to opening the door to salvation.

It’s exciting, it’s simple, it’s something worth grasping, and once you do, you’ll never want to let go.

Are you ready? Let’s open!

Dear Friends,

I am thrilled  to be able  to endorse the new ministry of Traci  Alexander,  Balancing Life's Demands.  Traci is a very gifted  young  lady  who  truly  has  a  heart  for   women's ministry.   She  has  been  a wonderful  assistant  to Bailey and  Sandy  Smith  for  so  many  years, and God is now allowing her to follow her heart in ministering  to women in the areas of retreats and conferences.

God bless you, Traci.   I  pray  that  the  Lord  Jesus   will  continue to give  you  the  desires of your heart that are in keeping with the will of God.

PRAYING FRIENDS...

I  just have not  been able to get  my brain around  all of the WONDERFUL things that the Lord did at Callaway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   It was spectacular.  I  just don’t know  where to  begin  or how to tell you all about it.  But, you must  know every woman that  attended had to  have  been touched by the Lord.  The altar was full on Saturday night.   The Lord was praised and the darkness parted allowing the Son to shine  all over that place.  There was one lady  that came for salvation  and 40 others that came making  public various decisions and those are just the ones that we know of. I am certain that the Lord worked in many ways in all of the ladies in attendance!

The prayer covering  just touched  the Lord’s heart.   He  honored  it  in  mighty, mighty ways.  Traci, being obedient  to the Lord  washed Jan Silvious  and Babbie Mason’s  feet on  Saturday night  after Jan spoke.   It was such a worship  experience and then  Babbie led in  praise.  The praise time was glorious - even competing with a band no less next door.   Babbie  started  singing "Amazing Grace" with  all of us (those next door  had to have  heard the praises!!!).    The altar was full Saturday night with those coming to get on their knees, some for Jan to anoint them with oil…SJust the Holy Spirit dealing with so many women in so many ways…I still keep crying in the glory of it!

There was a darkness that  had seemed  to pursue  even up to  Friday night,  but  nothing absolutely nothing thwarted the plan that Our God Had Purposed!!! He brought it about!!!!!!

The speakers had  just the right words  and we were  so blessed by all.   On Sunday  morning  at the end of our  worship  Traci broke  out in glorious  “skipping”  with  her  husband   Stephen  down the center aisle  and all  around  the  tables  of women.  Then,  other  ladies  got  in  on  it  including the speakers.  They  were  skipping  around  the  whole  room  with  friends.  It was just something else!  They were literally leaping with joy at what the Lord had done. They went skipping around the room as Babbie sang about the windows of heaven that will pour you out a blessing.  Fantastic worship of our Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As you can tell, I can’t  really  put  it  into  words  to describe what took place other than to say Traci had said she wanted to hit God’s heart with an arrow and His love poured over that place.  She hit it dead center.  God proved His faithfulness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a fabulous weekend of praise and worship and I know that the Lord placed things on my heart as He did every woman there.  Praise  His name for  showing  up  and  as Traci would say “Showing Off”.  It was really spectacular!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  As Traci said last fall, “I’m so proud of God”………I can’t wait to see what she will say this time.   I can’t put it into words myself.  Praise  God  for  the women that stood with Mylonn Ministries in prayer.   Your  prayers  were honored and I have never seen any conference  be  as  honored  by  the  prayers  of the women as this one was.   That was Traci’s heart when she asked us to pray.   Every  lady  that  came  was  given a card telling her that she had been prayed for…very special!

We’ll  need  to  be  in  prayer  for  Traci  in  these  next days as she wraps up and puts closure to this conference and as she plans for October.  I’ll  get  back  to  you  soon.   This  conference showed the importance and value of praying women.   Keep praying!

Those of us that were in attendance were given an opportunity to  donate  to the work.  If you are so led to do so I know that Traci would be blessed by it.

We are excited about

featuring the following books by:

 SPLASH THE LIVING WATER

The thesis for this book comes right from the heart of a Bible Study I taught for several years, which tells women how to share their faith in Jesus...in the most natural way... using their God-given gifts and talents...in their circles of influence and turning daily interruptions into divine appointments! This book is just full of true-life stories, both humorous and inspiring...calling us to live in such a way that we make someone "thirsty" for what we have in Christ Jesus.

ENGRAVED BY GRACE

This book is based on God's instruction in Psalm 78:5-7. He declared statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our forefathers to teach their children so the next generation would know them--even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. They would then put their trust in God and would not forget His deeds but would keep His commands. I am challenging my readers to intentionally pass on the legacy of love, hope, faith, joy, laughter, written and spoken words, prayer, holy habits and live in God's grace. Each chapter gives ideas that can become spiritual family legacies, impacting generations to come.
